RG-2515 Ram-Type 5-Axis Gantry Machining Center
A ram-type five-axis gantry machining center with typical X/Y/Z travels of 2500 × 1500 × 1000 mm. A square ram carries the spindle and optional A/C rotary axes to machine complex angled faces of large parts in fewer setups.

Five-Axis Ram Head for Complex Angled Faces
The RG-2515 combines a heavy gantry frame with a ram-type head that can be fitted with A/C rotary axes, so inclined faces, pockets, and compound-angle holes on large parts are reached without re-clamping. Typical X/Y/Z travels are 2500 × 1500 × 1000 mm, with the ram section adding rigidity when the head extends.
A/C Rotary Axes and Interpolation
When a two-axis rotary head or a rotary table is fitted, the machine supports simultaneous five-axis interpolation for sculptured surfaces. This suits complex dies, aero and energy components, and multi-face structural parts.

Gantry Frame and Guideways
The base and columns are ribbed castings; the cross beam runs on hardened, ground guideways and the saddle is pre-loaded to resist deflection during eccentric cutting. Both sides of the gantry are driven symmetrically to avoid beam skew during rapid positioning.
Typical Part Families
Automotive stamping dies, aerospace and energy structural parts, large pump and valve bodies, and any workpiece whose features lie on several non-orthogonal faces.
Accuracy, Compensation and Thermal Control
Volumetric accuracy is improved with laser-interferometer compensation and, optionally, thermal growth compensation for the spindle and screws. The rotary axes use high-precision bearings and a sealed drive to keep indexing repeatable.

Configuration and Acceptance Points
Confirm the rotary-axis torque and swing needed for the real part, the spindle interface, whether a head changer is required, and the worktable or rotary-table clamping plan. Acceptance generally includes geometric and rotary-axis accuracy, five-axis interpolation test, and a representative part trial cut. Final configuration and quotation are subject to inquiry confirmation.
